My writing, research, and content creation relates to how social and historical constructs, combined with moral responsibilities, shape our perceptions and maintain a systematically prejudiced society, one held constant by powerful social norms. These perceptions are shared in several ways, with one of the earliest and most dominating literary forms being poetry. My portfolio is made up of original works, including poetry, prose in verse, and academic papers. The common thread amongst my multitude and mixing of genres, however, is the human experience, evident through the prioritization of emotive articulation and authentic expression.
